Funginix — What Is It?

Ingredients — What You Need to Know

Ingredient information gathered per label at time purchase. Information may vary over time. This list does not include all ingredients.

FROM PRODUCT LABEL

Diglycerin

Glyceryl Monolaurate

Potassium Hydroxide

Active ingredient is derived from refined coconut oil and not included on label.

Use Instructions

Clean the affected areas and dry thoroughly. Apply Funginix liberally with brush applicator and make certain to get Funginix under the nail and into the cuticle. Apply twice daily; once in the morning and once at night. Keep nails dry and clean throughout the day.

Notable Features

Combination of fungal agents – Funginix contains a combination of anti-fungal agents including essential oils and plant extracts with anti fungal properties.

Applicator brush – Funginix utilizes a built in applicator brush to make applying even strokes easier. One criticism of applicator brushes is that they risk contaminating the formula between brushing the infected nail and then placing said brush back into the solution.

60 Day Satisfaction – Funginix stands by their product. Dissatisfied? Simply call them within 60 days from receiving your product to receive return instructions.

From Amazon

All referenced Amazon reviews below are from Verified Purchases.

After lots of research on how to use nail fungus products this product started working.
1. You have to cut your toenail back as far as you can go. I only had one toenail.
2. Then file the top of the toe nail to “break” the top surface then apply the funginix so it can get to the fungus. Throw away file Do not re-use! I get my “mini” files in bulk at Ross or Marshals.
3. wear a band aide over it to keep it for as long as you can so it doesn’t soak into your socks.
4. OR wear flip flops so the it doesn’t soak into anything else.
5. Make sure you dry your feet separately with like a paper towel so the fungus doesn’t get on other things. Throw away paper towel.
6. repeat Daily ! until the fungus is killed. Patience and it does work.”

“I bought this after a few brief google searches. Fuginix was proclaimed to be the best around. I’ve been using for few months and it seems like it’s gotten worse.”

Chris

“I’ve tried a bunch of these without luck, but this one is stronger than the rest BY FAR. I was prepared for many months of using it and I started seeing a difference really quickly. The tea tree oil in it doesn’t irritate my skin either, which is a plus. I would definitely purchase it again if needed!”

Warranties and Returns

According to website FAQ, Funginix provides a refund if a return is received within 60 days of the purchase date (not the date it arrives). Policy requires entire order be sent back including packaging. There is a contradiction on the how it works page which indicates that the 60-day policy is from the date of which it was received. You should call their customer service to receive proper return instructions prior to sending the product as an RMA or a specific address may be required.

Website

www.funginix.com

Funginix is an all natural formula containing multiple marketable ingredients. In our opinion, the most critical ingredient is Undecylenic Acid because it is recognized on the monograph link 1.

After closely evaluating the provided literature, we confirmed Undecylenic Acid is the active ingredient at 10%, the maximum permitted amount suggestedlink 1.

Funginix has a notable scent, a strong pine like odor. It is not unpleasant however people who are sensitive to strong scents should be advised. Funginix is administered through a built in bottle top applicator brush which can be viewed in more detail in the provided images later in this review. It dries relatively quickly on the nail within a few short minutes. It’s unclear as to whether or not this product can be used in combination with nail polish.

I think it’s important to note that Funginix also contains Camphor which helps reduce swelling and redness for people experiencing pain around the cuticle or nail bed.

How many applications

How many times am I suppose to apply this? I would give it 4 stars if it weren't for the price and unclear instructions. I do think this product will work though.

Plagued by fungus for years!!

Watching my toenails thicken and deform, thinking that this was just ageing, and after bruising and losing them repeatedly after long hikes, I finally checked with a podiatrist, got a laser treatment to start off with and then began with conscientious application of Funginix. I'm 2 months in, reordering, and enjoying watching my healthy toenails growing in!

Good been using it for awhile

Unfortunately, I've had to use this more than once but it does do the job. I wish there was a way to avoid fungus altogether but it seems to be a reality at my age.

Just like everything else

Overpriced product that has done little to nothing so far

Good Stuff

I used Funginix for awhile and saw some difference on my small toenail. I'll continue to use it. It has a strong pine like smell that I don't mind and seems to be doing the trick.
